Le-I Tan and Robin Chen, the secretary-general and a director of the Taiwan Militia Association (TMA), come together with two members of the Association, to participate in the Sunday worship service conducted in Taiwanese in Wenshan Presbyterian Church. After the service, Samuel, CEO of Academia Formosana, lead the four TMA members to take a look at the facilities for emergency management of Wenshan Church.

Elder Ek-Sīng Tiuⁿ, the Supervisor of the General Affairs Division of Wenshan Church, “unboxes” the facilities and explain them to the TMA members. The TMA members are impressed by the soundness of the facilities and the foresights on emergency management of the forerunners of Wenshan Church.

As a disaster prevention specialist, Director Robin Chen comments: “The disaster prevention and shelter facilities of Wenshan Church are well-constructed and its capacity is sufficient, which is really rarely-seen in Taiwan.”

The Secretary-General of TMA Le-I Tan, who is a member of Shuanglien Presbyterian Church, expresses a strong intention to form a close cooperation with Wenshan Church in particular and the wider church community in general, with a view to jointly responding to emergencies caused by natural and man-made disasters that may occur in the future.
